Bernama Admits to Doctored Photo

Bernama Editor-in-Chief Yong Soo Heong had admitted Thursday that a photograph of Prime Minister Najib Razak it released to newspapers last Saturday was in fact doctored. So what’s new? Don’t we know that the state media loves to deceive, defraud and delude us Malaysians? And to make himself look really stupid, Yong had hinted at sabotage!

Bernama  National news agency or Najib's propaganda machine?

Liverpool produced a stunning 5-3 victory against Young Boys in the opening game of their Europa League campaign. At half-time, the former had already led 2-1 before Juhani Ojala tied it for the latter in the 53rd minute. The Swiss side went in front on Gonzalo Zarate’s goal in the 63rd minute, before Liverpool drew even on a header from Sebastian Coates. Jonjo Shelvy then put the Reds in front in the 76th minute and clinched the victory with two minutes remaining.

With one eye on the September 23 Premier League game against Manchester United, Reds manager Brendan Rodgers fielded second-stringers after leaving regular starters including captain Steven Gerrard, goalkeeper Pepe Reina, striker Luis Suarez and defender Martin Skrtel back in England.
