Hollywood's Leading "Women"

Exactly nine days ago, I uploaded the videos of the SUBS vaudeville in my blog here. All of us at SUBS had a hearty laugh at the costumes that some of us donned. I thought it’ll be a good idea to put together a gallery of some of Hollywood’s leading men who wore dresses and put on make-up too for memorable movie roles:

Michael Caine as Bobbi in "Dressed to Kill."

Dustin Hoffman as Dorthy Michaels in "Tootsie."

Robin Williams as Mrs. Doubtfire in "Mrs. Doubtfire."

Tony Curtis as Josephine and Jack Lemmon as Daphne in "Some Like it Hot”

Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."

Terence Stamp as Bernadette, Guy Pearce as Felicia and Hugo Weaving as Mitzi in "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert."

Wesley Snipes as Noxeema, John Leguizamo as Chi-Chi and Patrick Swayze as Vida in "To Wong Fu, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar."

Marlon Wayans as Marcus Copeland and Shawn Wayans as Kevin Copeland in "White Chicks."

Adam S
andler as Jill in "Jack and Jill."

And do check out Victor in “Supergirl” (photos in my blog posting dated October 08, 2011 and “Pussycat Balls’ (video clip and photos in blog postings dated November 07, 2009 and November 01, 2009 respectively) – in addition to the video clip (i.e. Part 2) in my blog posting dated November 11, 2011. Even if you already have, check them out again!
And laugh out loud!!

Taipei Doll

Brandon (I still call him by this name although everybody else refers to him as Wee Han) posted this photo that he took when he was in Taiwan on holidays last week itself! He told me this ‘model’ (in an art museum) reminded him of the Pussycat Balls – he didn’t say which one of us though! Yup, I can see the resemblance – right down to the sensuous body! The question is, whose body?

And as our End-of-Year Toastmasters dinner meeting fast approaches – I can confirm that 31 people are attending Wednesday’s function – of these, 26 are Toastmasters and 5 non-Toastmasters. And the following 10 Clubs have re-confirmed their participation: D’Utama Advanced, KL Advanced, Metro, IEM, MIHRM, Taman Indrahana, MAS Mawar, Shaklee Dynamic Family, NLP, and DHL Cyberjaya. A good turnout makes a great meeting. I am looking forward to it.

The 'Wave' Protest

On December 05, 2009, tens of thousands of people joined a climate change march in central London calling for world leaders to agree a deal to protect the environment at their negotiations in Copenhagen. If I was in London on that day, I’ll be sure to join in:

The Star (December 16, 2009, p N6) reported that an estimated 20,000 Malaysians are overstaying in Britain. And now because this persistent problem will not go away, the UK government is going to penalize Malaysia by introducing the visa rules – likely to be from 2011. And if this policy is implemented, Malaysians will have to pay RM1,200 in processing fees – which is non-refundable even if the visa application is unsuccessful.

Right now, Malaysians are enjoying a visa-free status and we can remain in Britain without a visa for up to 6 months. This expected ruling is going to upset me, for sure!

The Pussycat Balls was supposed to perform at the Forget Not Christmas event this Saturday, but the untimely pullout by 3 members meant that we have to forget about doing the Girls’ Generation dance. I am so disappointed. I was actually looking forward to it....

Awesome Video

Arun added the first picture of She-Hulk on the Pussycat Ballz group page in Facebook. And the second is the Marvel version. If you ask me, I prefer the former! I just love it!

Anyway, still on the same subject – For those who still can’t get enough of this spectacular dance group The Pussycat Balls, here is a YouTube clip to let you watch again and again… Only for the avid and diehard fans! Like me! As Edric Ho puts it: “this video is F***ING AWESOME!!!!!!” Well, that’s one way of putting it! Anyway, I cannot agree more!

Pussycat Balls

This 7-member dance troupe made the audience go wild on Friday evening – never had such scenes been witnessed in Klang, a town known for its somber seriousness and staid composure. After their special one-time appearance, Klang will not be known just for bak kut teh, but for the Pussycat Balls. October 30 was an evening of raunchy bedlam, of wicked pandemonium. I swear – it’s as if the town was rocked by a 7-magnitude earthquake! No one can ever be the same again after this – and thankfully, there were no casualties. No one has reported that their pulses stopped and their hearts came to a grinding halt – well, at least, not permanently. All of us in the HICT auditorium will remember this evening for the rest of our lives because the racy images of these 7 ‘gals’ will forever be etched in our memories! That’s how super-duper the dancers were and how earth-shattering their dance performance was!

I have been told there were not a few from among the gallery who were turned on. You have to see them in person in order to experience the same turn-on that the showgoers encountered. How do we describe these red-hot ‘dolls’? Perhaps these nine adjectives can try to nail it down: alluring, bewitching, flirtatious, inviting, naughty, provocative, titillating, ravishing, sexy.

An awesome performance on the wild side of Jalan Meru, Klang!
