The United States and Israel are the world's most dangerous, rogue actors, functioning as the preeminent engine of global instability, and acting as the primary existential threat to world peace through calculated, widespread aggression. 

It is a well-known fact that the US has been at war 222 out of 239 years since 1776. And, since Israel's founding in 1948, the country has been in a state of near-perpetual conflict.

The war against Iran is their latest handiwork. It began on February 28 and the two didn't just target the Islamic Republic; they murdered the prospect of peace by launching joint, pre-emptive strikes against the country while diplomatic talks were still taking place. A calculated, unlawful act by the US and Israel.

Presently, the grueling war has petered into the current stalemate that brings a temporary lull to the battlefield, yet the rhetorical warfare remains fiercely active. 

On Tuesday, during Trump's address at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, he openly mused whether he should completely "annihilate" Iran and drive the nation into hell with "no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness or generations". 

By using the UN podium to openly contemplate wiping out a fellow member state, Trump brought an indecent irony to his delivery at the United Nations – an organisation founded to save future generations from war. 😡😡😡

Iran Will Not Fold

Donald Trump announced that the United States could potentially stay in Iran and "keep the oil" suggests that he is fundamentally miscalculating the war in Iran by treating its sovereign natural resources as low-hanging fruit. His brazen declaration – just as it did after removing Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela – exposes a dangerous strategic delusion. 

[While reports surfaced globally on September 14, 2026, Trump originally made these specific remarks to reporters a day earlier, while attending the Irish Open golf championship in Doonbeg, Ireland. He later confirmed in a phone interview with NBC News on Monday that seizing Iranian oil has actively been discussed within his administration].

This overt ambition to seize sovereign oil reserves is a blatant violation of international law. Under the Geneva Conventions and international legal frameworks, the unilateral confiscation of another nation's natural resources for domestic profit constitutes the war crime of pillage.

Trump’s blueprint relies on a completely flawed comparison that ignores both legal and geopolitical realities: 

• The Flawed Analogy: In August 2026, the US successfully leveraged a rapid regime collapse in Caracas to force a deal ceding control of 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil. Trump explicitly views this asset seizure as a repeatable model to pay for US military interventions. 
• The Institutional Reality: Venezuela’s command structure imploded because it was tied to a single strongman. Conversely, Iran is a deeply institutionalized, ideologically driven theocracy. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have completely rejected US overtures, vowing a war of attrition rather than capitulation. 
• The Strategic Lever: While Venezuela's oil infrastructure was easily isolated, Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran has already weaponized this chokepoint to choke global supplies, spiking US fuel prices and using global markets as a counter-offensive shield. 

Trump’s hubris in thinking he can simply dictate an exit strategy, secure the oil fields, and walk away with Iran’s wealth is an outright fantasy. Tehran will not fold to a "Venezuela-style" playbook, and any attempt to permanently occupy its oil reserves will violate international laws against resource theft, pulling the US into an un-winnable regional quagmire. 

Ultimately, Washington's strategic calculus fails to recognize that Iran is a different proposition entirely. History and regional resilience suggest that Iran will not be defeated; in fact, if pushed into a prolonged war of attrition, Iran will, for sure, prevail over the US.

Donald Trump’s Wild Weekend: From the Moon to ‘New America’

On September 06, 2026, US President Donald Trump posted an image of Earth's natural satellite on Truth Social overlaid with the text “THE MOON IS OURS” alongside an American flag. 

Of course, the post went viral globally. 

He should know he cannot legally own or have the authority to claim the Moon for the United States, despite his viral social media assertion. 

• The Outer Space Treaty of 1967: Drafted in part by the United States and signed by over 100 countries, Article II of this treaty explicitly states that outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, use, occupation, or any other means. 
• Province of All Mankind: Under international space law, the Moon is legally designated as a shared resource for all humanity, meaning it cannot be added to any country's territorial or real estate portfolio. 

Media analysis indicates that the Moon graphic was part of a rapid-fire series of speculative and satirical posts. This sequence included AI-generated concepts for black US Space Force uniforms and altered geographic maps. 

Critics were quick to mock the sheer absurdity of trying to annex the cosmos with a social media graphic, noting that the stunt perfectly encapsulates Trump's signature brand of delusional showmanship and low-effort internet trolling. Legal and space policy experts emphasize that this social media assertion functions strictly as hollow political theater rather than a formal executive action or a shift in official US space policy.

On the same day too, Trump shared social media posts promoting the renaming of New Mexico to "New America". He started by uploading a modified United States map alongside an AI-generated video that showed an "America" sticker being placed over a "Welcome to New Mexico" highway sign.

After the maps went viral, he persisted with a text post claiming that "many people" had voiced the idea to him, writing: "Many people suggested changing the name of New Mexico... to NEW AMERICA. So much more prestigious and beautiful for the people of that potentially incredible State. Wow, I Love It!!!"

However, the US federal government have no authority to change the name of a state. New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (right) rejected the proposal in a post on X, stating, "New Mexico's name isn't up for debate – it's been ours since before the United States existed". 

Following the viral pushback from local leaders, Trump aggressively doubled down the next day when he went on a rapid-fire spree, posting seven more times within a single hour with additional map variations and flag memes to keep the topic trending. 

Size Matters: UN Fixes the World Map

The United Nations on September 04 voted for a shift away from the 16th-century Mercator global map toward one more accurately reflecting countries' true size, a resolution sponsored by African states to counter perceptions that the continent is peripheral. 

Togo led the initiative to advance the African Union campaign to limit use of the Mercator map, which distorts the relative size of land masses by expanding those nearer the poles. It makes Greenland appear roughly the same size as Africa, though the latter is about 14 times larger. 

"A fair world begins with a fair map", ⁠Togo's Foreign Minister Robert Dussey ⁠told Reuters ahead of Friday's vote. 

The resolution promotes ‌the Equal Earth projection, which more accurately portrays the size of the continents. It is not legally binding and it "in no way challenges the use of the Mercator projection for maritime and aerial navigation, for which it remains fully suited", the Togolese ministry said in a statement. 

The ⁠resolution passed in the UN General Assembly by a vote of 164 to one, with six abstentions. The United States, the only country to vote against the resolution, said it promoted an "ideological agenda" and was a distraction ‌from the "genuine problems of international peace, prosperity or good relations". What BS! 

The Mercator map remains widely used in classrooms, but Togo hopes to change its school geography materials by the end of the year, Dussey told Reuters. 

"Togo will be ​the first country to change our own geography books", Dussey said. "In the classroom, we need to change it to give an example to ⁠all the countries in the world". 

His country will press other governments, schools, international organizations and technology companies to ⁠move away from the centuries-old Mercator projection, Dussey said, adding that Equal Earth offers "the best perception" of ⁠the ⁠world. 

Dussey linked the campaign to adopt the map to wider African efforts to confront colonial-era legacies, while saying it was not an attack on Europe or any other civilization. 

The Mercator map's widespread use is a consequence of colonization, he insisted. 

"The world is ⁠changing. Africa also is changing".

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, suggested renaming the Strait of Hormuz as “Trump Strait” despite ongoing clashes with Iran – then hours later implied he wasn’t serious. 

He has made a series of geographical name changes to international bodies of water in his second term, at least partly with the aim of trolling other countries. 

The latest suggestion came as Trump insisted the US had full control of the crucial waterway, even as fresh clashes raged there with Iran. 

“Now that we have it under USA control, should we change the name Hormuz Strait to TRUMP STRAIT??? Like America itself, it would be ‘hotter’ than ever before!” Trump said on his Truth Social network. 

The White House later posted a map of the Gulf on social media with his suggested name, adding: “It’s got a nice ring to it”. 

Trump has in recent weeks repeatedly threatened to claim sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, even posting a map showing the waterway as a “new US territory”. Trump, however, later played down the idea of rebranding the Strait of Hormuz. 

This psychological warfare via cartography mirrors Executive Order 14422 Trump signed to officially rename Lake Ontario as "Lake America" on August 27, 2026. 

Even major tech platforms like Google Maps and Apple Maps have already updated their platforms to display "Lake America" exclusively for US-based users. 

The aggressive rebrand has sparked severe backlash from America's northern neighbor. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Ontario Premier Doug Ford both condemned the action, asserting the 400-year-old body of water will remain "Lake Ontario, now and forever". 

Ford's administration went as far as erecting a massive physical "Lake Ontario" signage on the shoreline as a direct jab back at Washington. 

The Great Lake rebranding marks the second official success of Trump's broader geographical campaign, following his executive order in early 2025 that legally designated the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America” on official US federal maps.

US President Donald Trump appears preoccupied with slapping his name on things these days. 

On August 27, 2026, he shared a graphic on his Truth Social account that ranked himself as "the greatest" president in American history. 

The unverified presidential ranking list placed Trump at the very top, ahead of foundational historical figures like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. 

It’s not clear where the list came from, but it does not seem as though great care went into assembling it. 

Political commentators point out that the post aligns with Trump's ego-driven push to affix his name and face to public goods and institutions – such as placing his signature on Treasury bills, renaming Palm Beach International Airport, and modifying signage at the Kennedy Center. This comes despite his actual public approval rating, which is buried in the mid-30s.

Donald Trump Threatens to Bomb the Sh*t out of Oman

US President Donald Trump has threatened to “bomb the sh*t out of” Oman if it strikes a separate deal with Iran on control of the Strait of Hormuz, despite Oman’s key role as a mediator between Washington and Tehran. 

In addition to brokering talks between the US and Iran, Omani negotiators have been conducting parallel negotiations with Tehran aimed at establishing a safe route for shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran reportedly wants to charge fees for safe passage of the strait after an interim period, and Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei told reporters on Monday that Iran had reached an “understanding” with Oman on the matter. 

Asked about these Omani-Iranian talks, Trump told Fox News that “if Oman gets in the way, we’ll bomb the sh*t out of them”! 

The US rejects any agreement that would involve Iran collecting tolls, and Washington has signaled that it will not lift its blockade on Iranian ports unless Tehran relinquishes this demand. 

Speaking in New York on Friday, Trump claimed that the Islamic Republic was “very badly defeated”, and that he would soon “be declaring the Strait of Hormuz a territory of the US”. 

A memorandum of understanding signed by the US and Iran in June set a 60-day window to bring the conflict to an end and reopen the strait. The memorandum effectively collapsed after fighting restarted last month and the agreement officially lapsed on Monday. 

A senior Iranian official told Reuters that Iran is prepared “to escalate tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and wider region” if diplomacy fails, and to launch “timely and precise strikes” to break the US naval blockade if necessary. 

Trump did not reply directly to this threat in his comments to Fox News, but demanded that Iran “raise the white flag of surrender”.

[This specific quote was said to have gone viral as a social media meme around August 12–13, 2026. Whether this were the exact words from Araghchi, I cannot ascertain at this point in time].

According to investigative reporting by The Wall Street Journal, Israeli intelligence had provided the White House with tactical data detailing a fresh Iranian plot to assassinate the US President. Driven by a desire to avenge the 2020 killing of Iranian Major General Qassem Soleimani, the threat specifically warned of advanced operational designs – such as a potential localized surface-to-air missile strike. 

And as later detailed by the same WSJ, this threat prompted a high-stakes security maneuver at the Ankara NATO Summit (July 7-8, 2026) in Türkiye, where the Secret Service used a catering truck as a ruse to secretly switch the President from Air Force One to a heavily defended military transport jet. 

While the protective measures were executed immediately, US intelligence analysts have maintained a level of skepticism regarding the low credibility or unverified nature of certain elements within the specific Israeli warning.

Iran Threatens Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump made the threat to send Iran back to the Stone Age on April 01, 2026. He delivered this statement during a prime-time address from the White House. 

Six days later, he issued a second apocalyptic threat against Iran. Ahead of an 08:00 PM Eastern Time deadline regarding the Strait of Hormuz, he declared on social media that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again". 

Now, Iran has unveiled giant billboards in Tehran sending a direct counter-threat to Trump. 

A giant hoarding showing him lying inside an open black coffin was erected July 15, 2026 in Tehran’s Enghelab Square (Revolution Square), with graffiti-style text reading “We Will Kill Trump” written across the image in both Persian and English. 

The display also featured an inscription reading "In memory of Minab's children", referencing the massacre at an elementary school that was struck by US missiles in the southern Iranian city of Minab. 

Another one, at Palestine Square in Tehran, displaying headshots of Trump and members of his family, including Melania, Ivanka and Don Jr, on top of coffins draped with US flags, was unveiled around mid-July 2026 (specifically reported by international news outlets on July 16–17). 

Iran’s state media, Fars News Agency, even published an English-language video across multiple social media platforms, including the agency's official Telegram channel on July 17 titled “Where Do We Kill Trump?” purporting to show the motorcade route to his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, USA. 

It was later removed from X. 

Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic’s supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, warned Saturday of “unforgettable lessons” if the US continued its attacks on Iran.

For sure, at some point, the Americans will get what they deserve!

He has been roundly denounced for the post because he belittled the deaths of service members in the listed conflicts. 

Former supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene said Trump was “bragging about killing 18 US soldiers”. California Governor Gavin Newsom called the president a “disgusting Little Man”, while commentator Brian Krassenstein said Trump was minimizing “18 soldiers [who] have died from his stupid Iran war”. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called the post “beneath contempt”, and Senator Chris Van Hollen said Trump was “downplaying” the loss of American lives. 

On Wednesday, Trump courted controversy once again when he appeared to dismiss the conflict, referring to it as a "skirmish".

🚨 FIFA are preparing a budget of around $6 BILLION for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. 💰

And six countries have already secured their 2030 places after the global governing body for football officially confirmed the tournament’s unique hosting arrangement spanning three continents. Morocco, Portugal and Spain will serve as the main hosts of the expanded tournament, while Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay will stage special centenary celebration matches. 

A US official told The Intercept that recent attacks had wounded “far more” personnel than are reflected in the Pentagon’s current casualty count. They did not provide numbers but said “dozens” had received medical attention. 

According to ⁠Al Jazeera citing CENTCOM, the ongoing conflict with Iran has resulted in 17 confirmed US military deaths, one service member missing, and over 420 wounded. 

And reporting by The Intercept previously found that the Pentagon’s official tally of dead and wounded personnel is a gross undercount, stemming from what one US government official called a “casualty cover-up”.

On the Iranian side, at least 3,000 have been killed according to Iranian reports and Al Jazeera's live trackers, though independent monitors like the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) estimate around 3,684 fatalities, with more than 26,500 to 27,000 individuals injured. 

We should anticipate that devastating human losses across Iran will escalate under the weight of continuous US bombardments. CENTCOM already announced they finished their latest round of strikes on Monday, marking the completion of the tenth consecutive night of American air attacks on Iran. 

And US President Donald Trump warned Tuesday on Truth Social that the United States was "not finished" attacking Iran.

Donald Trump Edited Out of Spain’s Trophy Photo

US President Donald Trump has sparked fury after he "hijacked" Spain's World Cup trophy lift on Sunday. 

Trump, also joined by FIFA president Gianni Infantino, handed the trophy to Spain's captain Rodri (Rodrigo Hernández) after a deserved 1-0 extra-time win against Argentina. 

Before the match, when Trump was in Ankara, Türkiye for the NATO summit (July 7-8, 2026), he severely slammed Spain over its refusal to allow US forces to use Spanish bases for airstrikes on Iran, its failure to meet NATO defense spending targets, and its immigration policies. He has repeatedly described the country as a "terrible partner", a "wasted cause", and "hopeless", and once ordered Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to halt all trade and business with Madrid. 

And yet, the thick-skinned fella shamelessly tried to get into the World Cup final photo with Spain. This man has some sort of amnesia. He claims to hate Spain, yet he still wants to take a picture with them. 

The US president was seen next to the podium as Spain celebrated, but Rodri, as well as Infantino himself, appeared to gently guide him to the side of the stage. 

Trump was still in shot when the World Cup was hoisted aloft but the Spanish football association, however, uploaded the official World Cup-winning photo with the caption: "Dreams come true". The image appeared to have cropped Trump out. 

One fan commented on Reddit: "How long until Trump declares war on Spain because of this?" 

A second fan asked: "Is this filter available for everyday life? Asking for a friend". 

A third fan quipped: "The way the FIFA chairman had to skiddadle his a** over to him to GENTLY usher him away, like he was some toddler that would throw a tantrum if he was too direct". 

A fourth fan penned: "Well, he said that Spain is a bad country and that he doesn't want to trade with them. Lol. Why wouldn't they photoshop him out?" 

A fifth fan wrote: "He has to insert himself everywhere he doesn't belong".

Iranian Mourners Demand Vengeance

Iranians demanded vengeance during the funeral procession for slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday. 

As demonstrators set fire to US and UK flags, women in black chadors held aloft red placards with the English words "KILL TRUMP" in black letters. 

Others raised placards with the faces of Trump, Vice President JD Vance, War Secretary Pete Hegseth or Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, each depicted in the crosshairs of a gunsight, with the words "There will be blood". 

The 88-member Assembly of Experts issued a 10-point statement in which they said killing “the wicked prime minister of the Zionist regime” and “the criminal American president” was a religious duty that must be carried out “under any circumstances”.

Belgium's Revenge and the Dance of Defeat

Speaking to reporters at the White House hours before the round-of-16 World Cup game between USA and Belgium, Donald Trump stated: "If they beat us, they can be really proud. The other way, if they beat us, we'll say – I'll say it was rigged, just like the election was rigged in 2020".

The context surrounding his unsavoury comments stems from an unprecedented political intervention in the tournament. US star striker Folarin Balogun was shown a straight red card during a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, triggering an automatic one-game ban. 

Trump admitted, to personally calling FIFA President Gianni Infantino to lobby for a review of the "horrible" red card suspension. FIFA subsequently suspended Balogun's ban, allowing him to play against Belgium. This decision sparked global outrage, with UEFA accusing FIFA of "crossing a red line". 

Trump brazenly defended his action by saying he wanted both teams to have their full-strength squads.

But, despite the American-born Nigerian being cleared to play and starting the match, USMNT were unceremoniously dumped out of the World Cup when the clinical Red Devils trounced the former 4-1 in the knockout clash on Monday. It was their heaviest defeat since 1990. 

After Belgium scored their fourth goal several of their players were pictured dancing in a style similar to the 'Trump dance' – where he rocks his hips and slowly pumps his arms – which gained notoriety during the 2024 US presidential campaign. 

The official Instagram account for the Belgium national team also appeared to taunt the debacle, posting a picture of striker Romelu Lukaku cupping his ear with the caption "overturn this"!

And their midfielder Nicolas Raskin even triumphantly said his side’s victory felt like a measure of justice after that disgraceful FIFA decision.

Iran Wins, USA Loses

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the United States and Iran was separately signed on June 17, 2026. 

The primary signatories of the framework agreement are Donald Trump (President of the United States) and Masoud Pezeshkian (President of Iran). Additionally, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signed the document as the top mediator. 

FYI, early electronic signatures on the draft had been coordinated through US Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf. 

And I've read the said document. Not once, not twice, but thrice. Trump's so-called Iran "peace" deal doesn't include any of the big wins he promised. 😀😀😀

There's no two-ways to read the MOU other than the fact that Trump surrendered to Iran, as per the following terms: 

1. US to withdraw all military forces 
2. US to recognise Iranian sovereignty 
3. US together with regional partners commit to provide $300 billion in reconstruction funds 
4. US to unfreeze all Iranian overseas assets (in stages) 
5. US will allow Iranian oil to flow freely and remove sanctions. 

And what did Iran offer in return? 

1. Iran will allow free flow of shipping in the Straits of Hormuz. Err... it was free flow before the war. 
2. Iran commits to not build nuclear weapons. Err... it looks like the same commitment it made before the war. 

Everything else is subject to discussion and determination over the next 60 days. 

Massive accolades to MAGA Trump! What a humongous achievement! The world loves him very much! 😜😜😜

The above aside, Trump quipped on the same day that he will take credit if the deal goes well, but that he will blame his vice president if the preliminary deal falls apart (as per The Hill, published Thursday). 

“We’re going to bomb the hell out of them if they violate the agreement”, Trump said at a press conference Wednesday. “I don’t want them to. I want them to honor the agreement”. 

Personally, I don't believe the "peace" will last!

And in a Truth Social post on Thursday, Trump had ruled out any direct US funding for the scheme. 

“There is no 300 Billion Dollar payment to Iran by the US. That’s Fake News!” he wrote. "All there is for the US is success, lower oil prices, and victory". 

Vance, meanwhile, in an interview with The New York Times published on Thursday, echoed the same sentiment, saying that the plan will not be “paid for by American taxpayers”. 

“Not a cent of American money goes to Iran”, he reiterated.

I want to be clear here! I'm not under any illusion that the US has any intention to fulfill its obligations. 

In fact, I'm just waiting for the bombs and missiles to resume their strikes. And it doesn't matter who attacks who first. I don't care whether it's the US or Iran. Or even Israel.

Donald Trump doesn't give a damn! 

When asked whether anyone would be held accountable for US strikes on the Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, Iran, on February 28, 2026, that killed 168 children (and 14 teachers), the US president said no, called it "a strange question", and shrugged: "Mistakes are made". 💀💀💀

He made the remarks on Wednesday, June 17, during a press conference at the G7 Summit in Evian-les-Bains, France.

The children were killed in the active voice. The excuse arrived in passive voice.

Viral Buffalo Saved From Ritual Sacrifice

In Bangladesh, a nearly 4-year-old bull became a national celebrity after videos of its cream-colored coat, pinkish nose, and signature golden comb-over resembling the US president swept across social media. 

The 700-kilogram (1,543-pound) rare albino buffalo, which, unsurprisingly, was nicknamed "Donald Trump", was sold for ritual slaughter for the Eid al-Adha festival but found itself spared. That was because the government, citing security and animal welfare concerns, intervened to cancel the sacrifice, refund the buyer, and relocate the animal to the Dhaka National Zoo. 

It's a happy ending! The viral buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) has become the Dhaka zoo's Eid attraction! 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has framed the growing alignment between China, Russia, and Iran as a lasting obstacle to Donald Trump’s ambitions for global dominance. 

In a video address to the International Security Forum in Moscow, Russia (May 26-29, 2026), he said the three countries are working more closely across military, economic, and diplomatic fronts to push back against US influence and challenge what he described as American hegemony.

I share this perspective. I do believe that working together, the three countries can genuinely help foster world peace!

Predictably, Washington dismissed the comments as propaganda – but the message from Moscow was clear: Russia, China, and Iran want to present themselves as a united counterweight to US power.
