Skybridge of the Petronas Twin Towers

I blogged earlier about the Pesona Toastmasters meeting on Thursday. It was held at the Petronas Twin Towers. These lovely photos were taken from the meeting venue in Room 4006 on Level 40 of Tower 1:

The Petronas Twin Towers feature a double-decker skybridge connecting the two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors – I believe this is the highest 2-storey bridge in the world. I read that the skybridge is 170 meters (558 feet) above the ground and 58 meters (190 feet) long, weighing 750 tons. A three-hinged arch supports the skybridge with arch legs, each 51 meters (167 feet) long that are bolted to Level 29 of each of the towers.

Visitors are only allowed on the 41st floor but on Wednesday, Rosidah Hardiani and company brought us to the 42nd floor, which is for tenants only.
