VVIP Treatment for Psy

I came across reports that Psy was really given the VVIP treatment, courtesy of the government, when he came to Malaysia. If you can believe these reports, Psy was flown in using the Malaysian equivalent of Air Force One. If this is true, then it is a gross abuse of position and power.

For the uninformed, this is not the first time – the prime minister’s wife had used the same plane to bring in Shah Rukh Khan who was then filming in Switzerland into the country so he can do a duet with her.

I was at Mercu UEM in KL Sentral for the KL Advanced Toastmasters meeting where I delivered CC speech #9 titled “The Day I Almost Died”. The most memorable part about my speech – and this was confirmed by my fellow Toastmasters – was my pacing. It was steady and measured and certainly unlike my usual speeches where I gave them wings! It is always great to be here because I know I can learn from my peers whose command of the language is admirable. I am going to score this meeting a 7.5 out of a 10.
