Small Breasts, Huge Thighs

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard on Wednesday accused the opposition of a pattern of misogynist behavior, branding a menu for a party fundraiser "grossly sexist and offensive" after it featured a quail dish named after her that offered "small breasts" and "huge thighs".

I didn’t know there are some Australians who have a flair for creativity when designing menus. The said menu was used at a dinner in March for Mal Brough, a former government minister under prime minister John Howard and now an opposition candidate for the September national elections. Opposition treasury spokesman Joe Hockey was the guest of honour.

The menu only surfaced on Twitter Wednesday (see above pic), Liberal National Party leader Tony Abbott promptly condemned the description and said the menu went too far. And Gillard branded the description "grossly sexist and offensive" – and she was right. It was a most inappropriate remark that shouldn’t have made an appearance.

Yesterday, I was at KDU University College for the D’Utama Advanced Toastmasters meeting. I was also given the task to evaluate a Toastmaster who delivered her CC speech #10 and it was a good speech even if there was no pulling and tugging of emotions. A decent meeting in which I would score a 7 over 10.

I caught the radio interview on the news and I must admit that it was hilarious...! Only in Australia can we get this 'PM-bashing' without getting handcuffed and handcuffed-fed-nasi-lemak because of some outdated seditious-ridiculous-comedic law....

But.....its sad, but true....the description is quite accurate. Now lets create a friendly competition here in Malaysia to see if we can identify caucasian tourists by their nationality without questioning them...We will need the services of a distinguished ex-grammarian to be the judge (who must not be a KFC fan as KFC offers the opposite).....

Let the competition begin.....
