An Israeli-Indian Bromance

Modi's strong support for Israel and his refusal to condemn the naked Israeli (and US) aggression against Iran, a long-time friend of India's is telling!

Before Wednesday, Aberdeen remained winless in 33 meetings with Celtic in all competitions (D7, L26) since a 1-0 league victory in May 2018. Yesterday, their winless streak continued as the reigning champions did just enough to defeat the Dons 2-1 in an away Scottish Premiership match.

Luke McCowan’s corner was hooked goalwards by Liam Scales into the path of Kieran Tierney who fired past the goalkeeper in the 5th minute. 

But Celtic gifted Aberdeen an equaliser in the 19th minute when Scales clipped a rival player in the box to concede a penalty. And the spot-kick sent Vijami Sinisalo the wrong way to let Dons level. 

But substitutes decided this game as James Forrest, who had been on the pitch two minutes, crossed for fellow sub Benjamin Nygren to beat the goalie from close range in the 67th minute and got all 3 points for Celtic.

Just so you know. This fixture was re-arranged after a waterlogged pitch put paid to the game on February 04, following weeks of bad weather in the Granite City.

Celtic now leapfrog Old Firm rivals Rangers and move five points behind league leaders Hearts.
