BRICS Point To The Future

No matter. Let them be. China and Russia will tread their own paths and forge a shared future. And realize their vision of the world. 

 

And they'll invite the Global South to come onboard via mechanisms such as BRICS.

For sure, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin have a blueprint for a new world order – and with it, they can write a fresh chapter of peace, progress and prosperity.

 

In the meantime, the West will just collapse like a house of cards.

 

It's gonna happen because Western countries are way too stubborn to change course. They want to continue to exercise their imperialist hegemony over the rest of the world. After all, the other countries are not seen as their equals.

The Global South already understand this and they know that the BRICS+ family of countries – of which China and Russia are the principal drivers – are active participants in the creation of a freer, fairer world. And proving to be an alternative to the unipolar system long dominated by the West.

 

That explains why thirty-four countries, including Malaysia, have expressed interest in joining the bloc.

In fact, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said this: "Encompassing countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America, the Global South is on a trajectory to play a pivotal role in reshaping the future of the world economy".

And by joining BRICS, he knows Malaysia will have an opportunity to leverage the Global South economies and ensure that fair trade practices are maintained, and that the international financial infrastructure is not monopolised by one country or one region.

 

The day will come when each and every country can be equally represented in the international and global community.
