If you rely on Western media accounts about the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, you'll be informed that Ukraine is standing strong and steady and Russia is hurting badly!
Less than a month after Russia intervened in Ukraine, the latter president Volodymyr Zelenskiy had, on March 11, 2022, told the world that Ukraine is on course for victory!
Forty-two days later, its prime minister Denys Shmyhal – on April 22 – reiterated that Ukraine will be victorious in its war against Russia very soon!
And yet as the fighting enters its seventieth day, there is no sign of it ending anytime soon.
Of course, the West all buy into the narrative that Russia’s military are incurring heavy losses in the so-called “war” in Ukraine.
The Kyiv Independent had provided indicative estimates of Russia’s combat losses as of April 14, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
And the National News Agency of Ukraine, or Ukrinform on May 05 reported that Russia’s combat losses in Ukraine reach about 24,500 troops (+300 over the past day).
Between February 24, 2022 and May 04, 2022, Russia also lost 1,077 tanks (+15 over the past day), 2,610 armored fighting vehicles (+43), 491 artillery systems (+16), 163 multiple launch rocket systems (+1), 81 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+1), 194 aircrafts (+0), 155 helicopters (+0), 1,867 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+24), 10 boats/cutters (+0), 303 unmanned aerial vehicles (+12), 38 special equipment units (+0). A total of 87 enemy cruise missiles (+3) were shot down.
The above numbers were said to have been made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Even BoJo boldly told the Ukrainian Parliament on Tuesday that Kyiv will win the “war”!
LOL! You never know but these clowns might even believe that come May 09, Russia would even announce it is conceding defeat in Ukraine! For you and I, it may sound bizarre – but they’ll believe in their own rhetoric, no matter how ridiculous it is! They can't admit defeat and they won’t admit defeat!"
