The Story of a Coup in Moscow

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Генеральний штаб ЗСУ) yesterday posted on Facebook the huge Russian losses in Ukraine todate:

I don't trust these Ukrainian numbers. And it's not helping that the Russians are not divulging anything. Still, the FACT OF THE MATTER is that Ukraine is losing more soldiers, losing more military equipment and losing more ground!

But Ukraine is in denial!

Major general Kyrylo Budanov (right), Ukraine’s head of military intelligence went so far as to pronounce that Russian defeat which he reckoned is imminent would lead to the removal of Russian president Vladimir Putin.

More bizarrely, Budanov declared that a coup is, in fact, already under way against Putin – but he provided no evidence to support the claim.

Sad how some Ukrainians believe their own fabrications and the stories they make up in their heads!

Champions Celtic ended their Scottish Premiership season in style with a 6-0 rout of Motherwell on trophy day.

Kyogo Furuhashi fired in the opener in the twenty-first minute and then, David Turnbull made it two in the fortieth minute. Four minutes later, the Japanese star added a third and which was his second.

Celtic were in no mood to let up after the interval with Jota sweeping home the fourth on the hour before substitute Giorgos Giakoumakis completed the rout by netting in the 68th minute and again in stoppage time.

Yesterday's victory ensured Celtic’s league campaign ended with a 32-game unbeaten streak. Congratulations, lads!
