Thursday brought another round of back-to-back Toastmasters sessions in downtown KL, making it my third such double-header in so many weeks.
This intensive day began at the Tiger club in Menara ExxonMobil in Jalan Kia Peng and concluded at the Metro meeting at Bintang Academy inside Sungei Wang Plaza, right at the intersection of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Bukit Bintang. I pulled quadruple duty across the day to challenge both my performance and analytical skills.
At Tiger, I jumped into the hot seat as a Table Topics speaker and was voted Best Table Topics Speaker, before stepping up as a prepared speech evaluator afterward.
I snapped a few photos during the event – take a look at those who made the final cut!
Shifting gears in the evening at Metro, I took the stage to deliver speech #961 titled "Crying" – a humorous take that was a milestone driven entirely by my personal quest to achieve 1,000 lifetime speeches. I was voted Best Speaker for the effort, before finally wrapping up the stint as the Table Topics Evaluator.
It was great capturing the energy of this event. Here is a look at the feature gallery showcasing the key participants in action:
