What happens when you mix an unexpected invitation, a fresh new venue, and a handful of Diamonds and Pearls?
Yesterday, I returned to IBC Toastmasters Club at their brand-new venue in Dataran Puchong, Taman Puchong Utama in Puchong. I was there at the invitation of their VPE to evaluate the club president's opening address for an official speech project.
Beyond the honor of being voted Best Evaluator, the night ended on another high note as 5 copies moved out the door: 3 Diamonds and 2 Pearls.
For those unfamiliar with my guidebooks, "The Diamond in Your Speech" focuses on the art of speech crafting, while "The Pearls of Your Speech" uncovers the secrets to brilliant speech delivery.
Overall, the meeting was engaging and full of vigor, reflecting a really positive team alignment.
