Three Balloons

With little or no successes on the Ukrainian battlefield in its proxy war against Russia, the US is left with just boasting that it had successfully shot down a supposedly Chinese spy balloon over its skies. [Read my earlier post “Hot Air Over a Balloon” published February 06]. 

 

On Friday another balloon was shot down over Alaska at the orders of US President Joe Biden. 

 

National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said that the said balloon was the size of a "small car". It was taken down more easily than the “Chinese spy balloon”, Kirby said, which was larger than the Statute of Liberty. 

 

And yesterday, a new unidentified “high-altitude airborne object” has been spotted and shot down by a US military F-22 over Canada’s Yukon territory. 

 

All in a day’s work for the country's military, having spent over $1 million to bring down the three balloons! Well done, USA!
