And Pakatan Harapan-led state governments, i.e. Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Penang have declared November 18 a special state holiday.
The date is the eve of polling day for GE15 – and it is to encourage and make it easier for Malaysians from the three states to fulfill their duty as voters.
A total of 21,173,638 Malaysians will go to the polls on November 19, while 265,531 who are registered as early voters will be able to send in their ballots by post this Saturday.
