Today is International Women's Day – the purpose of which is to inspire women across the world and celebrating their achievements. Sky News are marking today's 100th International Women's Day with an all female line-up – that’s a very appropriate gesture to commemorate this special day! In Malaysia, we don't seem to be aware of the significance of this day – at least I don't think so. Anyway, I do salute all women the world over because they make this world a better place for all!

And today, we counted RM13 in donations to the HELP for Haiti Fund. This brings the grand total to RM969. This morning, we heard news about an earthquake that struck Turkey, last week the quake hit Taiwan (March 04), and prior to that, it was Chile (February 27). As they say, it never rains, but it pours! Just to set the record straight, our focus is still on Haiti because the devastation in Haiti was crushing and depopulating and therefore, the need for financial aid is the greatest.
