Ukraine is Beyond Saving

Ukrainian President [V]olodymyr [Z]elensky (right) complained on May 02 that Russia had rained more than 300 missiles, around 300 Shahed-type drones and over 3,200 guided bombs on Ukraine in April attacks alone. 

 

One hopes Russia continues in May too.

 

Outposts like Arkhanhelse, Berdychi, Keramik, Kotlyarivka, Kyslivka, Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretyne, Semenivka, Solovyove, and Urozhaine, all went down like ninepins to the Russians as they continue their advance. 

 

And there's no hiding the fact that the latest jackpot the Russians are eyeing is Chasov Yar. After Mariupol's capitulation in May 2022, Bakhmut's capture in May 2023, and Avdiivka conceding defeat in February 2024, for sure, Chasov Yar is next!

Chasov Yar was once reportedly touted as an “impenetrable fortress” by [Z]elensky.

Yesterday, Celtic's comfortable 3-0 victory over Hearts moved them six points clear at the Scottish Premiership summit and maintained the prospect of a title party against Rangers.

 

Kyogo Furuhashi was on target twice in the first half. He nodded in from compatriot Reo Hatate's cross in the fourth minute and then Matt O’Riley's outrageous ball from deep on the left found him racing into the box to score in the twenty-first minute. 

 

O'Riley's penalty in the eighty-seventh minute, rifled high into the top-right corner after an on-field review showed a Hearts player had clearly handled in the box.
