The Ukraine Conflict: Deliberate Misinformation Aplenty

I actually don’t want to blog about the Ukraine hostilities because like many of the other conflicts around the world, it's the same old story. Meaning, the United States is behind it all.

Ever since Russia launched a “special military operation” into Ukraine on February 24, 2022, thousands of images and videos of battle scenes have flooded the Internet. Most of them paint the country in a bad light. Russia is seen as a combative and callous aggressor!

But the fact is, a lot of them are NOT real – or what it appears to be.

 

And of course, not forgetting to mention that there’s 'Wartok', TikTok's role in the information war marred by fake news!

 

Evoking the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999 and the American invasion of Iraq in 2003, Russian President Vladimir Putin had cast his intervention in Ukraine as a long-overdue strike against an American-led world order that he described as an “empire of lies”. 

And he was compelled to act to ensure the “demilitarization” and “denazification” of the country that has long been manipulated by the US since 2014.

Why demonize Russia over Ukraine when the world largely kept silent on American warmongering as well as the unrests it instigated all around the globe?!

You should know that the US orchestrated almost every conflict for the past fifty years including the current war in Ukraine.
