"That 99% harmless (claim) is ridiculous", Dr. Peter Hotez (right), dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas said.
"We know 15% to 20% of patients are hospitalized, and of those, about half go in intensive care with permanent injury", he said.
