No Mahathir Photos Allowed During Campaign Period

On Tuesday, Pakatan Harapan lashed out at the Election Commission for barring the Opposition bloc from putting up posters of their prime ministerial candidate Mahathir Mohamad (right) during the coming general election campaign. 

The EC’s lame excuse was that PH are not formally registered with the Registrar of Societies as a coalition. It seems that only pictures of candidates and the president of the party contesting in the polls are allowed. WTF!

This is gross interference from the EC. Whether PH are registered or not – their member parties ARE contesting in GE14 and Mahathir is a member of Bersatu. 

I can’t even begin to understand their logic.  I think these Malaysians at the EC are surely suffering from a brain-eating disease that is extremely contagious.

What is obvious though is that the powers-that-be fear Mahathir. And we can expect Bersatu's deregistration to come next.  

Don't think that the Malay tsunami won't happen. It may just drown BN with a ferocity that will surprise all of us!

Yesterday, a high-octane Liverpool did a brilliant job against Manchester City in their Champions League quarter-final first leg. The Reds thumped the latter 3-0. 

There’s no question about the best part of this Liverpool team – moving fast and furious, pushing forward at pulsating pace and in numbers. 

You could see that the Citizens had no answer to the Reds’ rampant rush – and once the latter took control, there was no stopping them. The weighty will to win was plain for all to see. 

Liverpool were electric from the start – Mohamed Salah taking advantage of some smart work from Roberto Firmino to give them a twelfth minute lead before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fiercely lashed home from 20 yards and Sadio Mane rose to head home Mo’s cross. 

The Reds starting on the front foot, in attacking mode and relentless, is a sight to behold! 

Go, go, go Liverpool!
