Ukrainians in Kursk Are Being Systematically Wiped Out

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The beleaguered Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk Region are being systematically wiped out.

 

Since the beginning of hostilities there, Kiev has lost over 30,050 troops, 184 tanks, 115 infantry fighting vehicles, 107 armored personnel carriers, 1,088 armored combat vehicles, 817 motor vehicles, 261 artillery pieces, 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 HIMARS and six MLRS of US manufacture, 11 anti-aircraft missile launchers, seven transport and loading vehicles, 59 electronic warfare stations, 12 counter-battery radars, four air defense radars, 26 pieces of engineering and other equipment, including 13 counter-obstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine-clearing vehicle, five armored repair and recovery vehicles, as well as a command and staff vehicle.

 

But the Ukrainians refuse to sing from the same song sheet. They're singing a different tune. They have to.

 

Their Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in a Facebook post on November 06, 2024, had claimed that the Russian army lost more than 20,800 soldiers in the Kursk Region, including 7,905 killed in action, 12,220 wounded and 717 Russian soldiers were captured.

 

In addition, during the same period, Ukrainian forces destroyed 1,101 pieces of the enemy's weapons and military equipment, including 54 tanks, 276 armored fighting vehicles, 107 guns and mortars, five multiple rocket launchers, and 659 vehicles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Wednesday, Ukrinform cited the platoon commander with the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade, Stanislav Krasnov, stating on national television that "the Russians are not able to break through our defense line. They are suffering huge losses, a large amount of infantry and equipment they are using is being wasted. Our defense line holds".

 

At the same time, according to the Ukrainian officer, the (supposed) involvement of North Korean troops in Russia had no psychological effect on the Ukrainian military. 

 

"It is perceived more as a joke. No one takes seriously the infantry from North Korea as some kind of combat unit. Everyone perfectly understands that it will just be more like ‘cannon fodder’ ...which is unlikely to be able to have any impact. Well, we will have to waste a little more ammunition to destroy them", Krasnov boasted.

 

Ukrainian President [V]olodmir [Z]elensky had already declared that 11,000 soldiers from North Korea are in the territory of Kursk Region, according to Ukrinform on Monday.
