If Joe Biden is Unfit to Run for President, He is Unfit to Serve as President

US President Joe Biden is now facing loud calls for him to step down immediately, after declaring he will not seek reelection in November!

House Speaker Mike Johnson was one of the first to promptly call out: "If Joe Biden is not fit to run for president, he is not fit to serve as president. He must resign the office immediately. November 5 cannot arrive soon enough".

And Rep Richard Hudson, chairperson of the National Republican Congressional Committee, roared in a post on X: "This is a scandal of historic proportions. President Biden is incapacitated, Democrats knew, and they lied to the American people to cover it up. If Biden is mentally unfit to campaign, he is mentally unfit to have the nuclear codes".

A host of Republican lawmakers have joined the chorus calling for Biden's resignation. Florida Senator Rick Scott,  Louisiana Representative Steve Scalise and House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik of New York are among dozens who have demanded that Biden relinquish the presidency.

The calls to bow out can only get louder and more strident.

A software update for Windows issued by US cybersecurity technology company CrowdStrike caused widespread outages and system crashes, rendering many Windows hosts inoperable on Friday. The technical havoc was massive, leading to suspended flights, disrupted public services, trading halted on stock exchanges and paralyzed payment systems worldwide, according to media reports. 

In fact, China and Russia have already stepped up tech independence and self-sufficiency initiatives against the backdrop of the US' tech war against China and US-led sanctions against Russia – and which greatly helped to insulate the two countries from BSoD.
