Another state election in Malaysia is just days away! This time, it's Sarawak's turn.
Polling day is set for December 18 and early voting fixed on the 14th. A total of 349 candidates are contesting in the 82 seats up for grabs in the 12th Sarawak state election.
The five-year term of the Sarawak state legislative assembly officially ended on June 06, but it wasn’t dissolved until August 01 due to Malaysia's state of emergency.
I don’t expect any surprises in this PRN and the governing coalition Gabungan Parti Sarawak – they were then all huddled together under the BN umbrella – are expected to make an almost clean sweep. Again.
