The Sunway School of Business threw a yee sang lunch – today being Chap Goh Meh, the fifteenth and last day of the Lunar New Year. As usual, it was well-organized and well-attended.
And immediately after, we also organized a Management game ("Touchdown") for the Foundation in Arts (FIA) students as an engaging way to introduce our Business degree programs. It was ably put together by Shannon Jann Ng and also Derek Ong, and assisted by a coterie of fellow lecturers and Business students. The objective was to design and create as many innovative products as possible within a 45-minute time frame and successfully bringing them into the Market Zone ("Touchdown!") with the least number of fumbles. The idea is not to touch down footballs, but rather products. The winner is the team with the highest score. My verdict? An abundance of riotous fun. I know because I was there too.
