Wukong Developer-Publisher in 12th Place on Steam’s Top Publisher Rankings

Chinese game developer Game Science have risen to 12th place on Steam’s top publisher rankings, surpassing renowned companies such as CD Projekt Red, FromSoftware, and Larian Studios, according to the Steam statistics platform Gamalytic. 

 

The rankings are based on game revenue on the Steam platform, with data showing that Game Science’s revenue from Black Myth: Wukong has already exceeded $1 billion. 

 

The top twelve publishers on Steam are: Valve (e.g., Half-Life 2), Krafton (e.g., TERA), EA (e.g., Tales of Kenzera: ZAU), Ubisoft (e.g., Assassin's Creed 2), Xbox (e.g., Senua's Saga: Hellblade II), Bethesda (e.g., Starfield), Sega (e.g., Sonic the Hedgehog), Activision (e.g., Call of Duty), Bandai Namco (e.g., Elden Ring), Rockstar (e.g., Grand Theft Auto 5), 2K (e.g., Borderlands 3), and Game Science.

  

Asian champion S Sivasangari went down fighting to world No. 4 Olivia Weaver in five sets in the semi-finals of the Silicon Valley Open yesterday.

 

The World No. 9 and third seeded Malaysian battled for sixty-eight minutes and gave the top seeded American some anxious moments. But Weaver, who has been playing consistently well in PSA tournaments, prevailed 11-6, 8-11, 12-14, 11-9, 11-5.
