Argentina produced an impressive performance to eclipse Croatia 3-0 in their FIFA World Cup semi-final clash in Qatar on Tuesday. And of course, I'm mighty pleased that they won!
Two of Argentina's goals came in the first half as Lionel Messi scored from the penalty spot in the thirty-fourth minute, followed just five minutes later by another goal this time from the boot of Julian Alvarez.
In the second half, Alvarez again, with a solo run, scored in the sixty-ninth minute after some great work from Messi down the wing.
Argentina will now face either reigning champions France, or upstarts Morocco in the final on Sunday.
