Yesterday, in my BMB3303 International Marketing class, we did something different – we decided to have a first class x-perience! What I meant was that we ordered the promotional Domino’s Pizza First Class Meal (i.e. Chicken Perfection) to share among nineteen students and one lecturer. (Jessica Nyepit was the only student absent from yesterday’s class). Nice! We feed our brains as well as fill our stomachs! 
Germany on Monday announced plans to become the first major industrialized power to shut down all its nuclear plants, with a phase-out due to be wrapped up by 2022.
Environment Minister Norbert Roettgen who made the momentous decision – it was prompted by the Japan nuclear disaster – described it as 'irreversible'. This decision is effectively a return to the timetable set by the previous Social Democrat-Green coalition government a decade ago.
And German Chancellor Angela Merkel says phasing out nuclear power by 2022 can allow her country to become a trailblazer in renewable energy. Germans should be very proud of their country!
