$2 Billion in Ticket Sales in 10 Days

According to Box Office Mojo, as of May 05, 2019, Avengers: Endgame has already earned worldwide takings of $2,192,161,748. A phenomenal success for a phenomenal blockbuster.

Just look at its long list of records – the movie is No. 1 for Worldwide openings; Foreign opening weekends; Opening day gross; Single day gross; Widest releases; Fastest to $100M; Fastest to $200M; Fastest to $300M; Fastest to $400M and Fastest to $500M among others.

Another way of looking at it – Avengers: Endgame has surpassed the 21-year global box office record of $2.128 billion held by Titanic, to become the second-highest grossing film in the world. In only ten days of release.

Now all that's left is Avatar's all-time global box office record of $2.788 billion. Can Avengers: Endgame best it? I reckon it can – just give it another ten days or so.

Anyway, I came across this Marvel article by BBC’s Entertainment reporter Rachel Foley who did a good job of explaining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Better still, she recommends that you watch all twenty-two films in chronological order (rather than the order in which the films were released) – and here’s a handy diagram to help you organize your Marvel viewing:
