The Missing Stars

A song by a local artiste, making reference to Najib Razak's RM2.6 billion political donation, is making waves on social media.
The song “Mana Hilang 2.6 Bintang” by Amirudin Hizadin – refers to the RM2.6 billion that quietly sneaked into the prime minister's personal accounts – as “missing stars” that has led to the world being engulfed in darkness.
The music video of the acoustic song was uploaded on Facebook and shared in many popular pages (including this blog) and has since garnered 143,227 views as at 10:42 AM today.
‘Mana Hilangnya 2.6 Bintang’ is a song that tells of a young man who is feeling the pressures of life in a country during a dark time with the leadership,” Amirudin said in describing the song, that he wrote.
The song resonates with Malaysians because we face unrelenting hardships under an uncaring Najib who is only interested in safeguarding his prime ministership.

Yesterday, squash queen Nicol David was defeated by world number eight Nour El Sherbini 6-11, 12-10, 11-5, 4-11, 9-11 in sixty grueling minutes at the Qatar Classic Squash Championship 2015.
The Sunway University Toastmasters Club had their regular meeting on Thursday and we had our enjoyable fill of impromptu mini-speeches, project speeches and evaluations.

And with pride, I had announced to members that we had already achieved 8 DCP points in less than 5 months! Not only that – but we also had two members who have earned their Advanced Communicator Bronze awards, Mirosha Somasundram and Akshay Adithiya Nayar.

Sunway University Toastmasters rock!
