Mohd Puad Makes Wild Claim

UMNO supreme council member and Deputy Education Minister Mohd Puad Zarkashi (left) charged at a press conference on Monday that the DAP plan to print and distribute 100,000 Bahasa Malaysia Bibles which will use the word "Allah" for free to win votes in the coming general election. To further fan the flames of hate-filled resentment, three ill-advised newspapers published the preposterous allegation the following day: Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian and New Straits Times. Thrashy papers such as these will always run foul of good sensibilities.

Puad's contemptible claim is untrue and totally baseless because DAP is not, at all, a Christian organization. Therefore, it is a malicious lie meant to provoke racial and religious sentiments and worse, it wishes to evoke hatred of Muslims towards the DAP. Puad had made a grave accusation and now he is insisting that the DAP prove that the outrageous allegation is false!

The little intelligence that resides in Puad's almost-empty cranium has escaped to descend into the dizzying depths of idiotic imbecility! Can somebody please be so kind as to tell Puad that the onus is on him and not the DAP to show proof?!? I think the DAP shouldn't just make a police report but they should also sue him for defamation.

On Tuesday, I was in Bandar Sri Damansara to attend the Speecom Toastmasters meeting – a commitment I made to Chloe Yong. I was the General Evaluator and to my pleasant surprise, my ex-HELP student, Sasie Gala even turned up to check out Toastmasters. The meeting made me happy momentarily because we started on time but after that, it drifted, rambled and strayed. Toastmasters must remember we have an agenda to observe and a Timekeeper to keep time, so no excuse lah! Overall, it was still a good meeting and it certainly deserved a 6 out of a 10.
