Yellow Protest around Christmas tree

The University of Strathclyde Alumni Malaysia had their annual dinner at Sunway Resorts Hotel & Spa on Saturday. Let me confide in you that it was a boring evening – enough said!

Yesterday, about 50 people in yellow shirts – protesting against the Peaceful Assembly Bill – gathered around the Christmas tree here in KLCC, posing for group pictures, giving out yellow muffins and cookies and singing the national anthem. Even though KLCC had threatened the organizers with legal action, the fifty were not cowed.

In the SPL game between Celtic and Hearts, the former won by a slim 1-0 victory. And Celtic had to wait for a full 72 minutes before Victor Wanyama put them ahead with a fine solo strike from the edge the area.

The same with the EPL game between Liverpool and Queens Park Rangers, when the former also prevailed with a 1-0 win, thus ending their run of four successive home draws. The latter did a superb job to contain the former in the first half but Luis Suarez scored when he was allowed to connect with Charlie Adam’s cross to head the ball into the corner of the net (47).
