Multi-accented English

I found this on (posted on Friday) – an anti-smoking sign from 1915! I didn’t know that even in those days, there were already objections to the smoking habit.

And even better is this video clip that showcases the English language in 24 accents! This video is terrific fun, not to mention loaded with cussing. Whatever, I certainly enjoyed it!

Celtic survived an early scare before coming from behind to beat Hamilton 3-1 and move back to the top of the league table on goal difference.

Accies through Mark McLaughlin produced the first goal of the match (3) and Celtic carved out an equalizer when Daniel Majstorovic heading Ki Sung-Yeung’s corner back into the danger zone and Shaun Maloney headed the ball into the net (25). Maloney again fired Celtic in front for the first time in the game when his 64th minute free-kick after Scott Brown was bundled off the ball by James Goodwin. Gary Hooper then grabbed the third when he seized on slack play by Accies’ Imrie before drilling the ball home (71).
