A Company Called BrewDog

A November 26 posting on BBC NewsEntertainment headlined a statement by Robin Antin, founder of girl group Pussycat Dolls that said that there "is no truth" to the rumors that the American girl group had split up; that they are ‘still together’. Likewise, the Pussycat Balls are also still together – it’s just that they have taken a hiatus from performing. Aren't us all celebrities the same? We need a break.

A Scottish brewery, BrewDog of Fraserburgh has launched what it described as the world's strongest beer – Tactical Nuclear Penguin (what a mouthful of a name for a beer!), with a 32% alcohol content. Managing director James Watt said a limited supply of Tactical Nuclear Penguin would be sold for £30 each. He said: "This beer is about pushing the boundaries, it is about taking innovation in beer to a whole new level."

Watt added that a beer such as Tactical Nuclear Penguin should be drunk in "spirit sized measures". In fact, a warning on the label states: "This is an extremely strong beer; it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance. In exactly the same manner that you would enjoy a fine whisky, a Frank Zappa album or a visit from a friendly yet anxious ghost." (Webpage
