Tabung Covid-19


The Premier League, the Football League and the Women’s Super League have suspended all matches until the weekend of April 03-05 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

An unprecedented development, it follows the revelation overnight that there are Premier League clubs which have members of staff, including players and coaches, who are displaying symptoms of the virus. 

The Scottish FA have taken even stronger measures, announcing that all football under their jurisdiction will be suspended until further notice. 

Resumption of course, is subject to medical advice and conditions at the time.  But there is this nagging fear that the football season may never be completed.

It’s not just football but other sports too are affected. Indeed, Covid-19 has successfully decimated the sporting calendar. 

I didn't get a chance to collate and compile everything together on the eve of World Speech Day 2020 because there were still last-minute registrations. Anyway, these are the final numbers:
