You Are Not Alone for China 武汉疫情直击

Give this song a listen – more importantly, it tells us that it is not about the world versus China but rather humanity versus Covid-19, that we should all stand together!
Zhong Guo Jiayou! 中国加油!

Latest update, according to thewuhanvirus.com: 60,402 infected and 1,371 dead.

China's official death toll from Covid-19 spiked dramatically on Thursday after authorities changed their counting methods – the government explained they are now adding "clinically diagnosed cases" in the tally to make it easier for these patients to receive treatment early.

The World Health Organization promptly moved to calm fears, saying the new numbers did "not represent a significant change in the trajectory of the outbreak".

And as the figures soared in China, a troubling new front opened abroad as neighboring Vietnam placed 10,000 people under quarantine on the same day too after six Covid-19 cases were discovered in a cluster of villages in Son Loi commune, about 40km from Hanoi – the first such lockdown overseas.

Health news aside, on Wednesday, Celtic took a significant step towards a ninth title in a row after thrashing Hearts 5-0 to move 10 points clear in the Scottish Premiership.

Neil Lennon's side stretched their winning run when Olivier Ntcham opened the scoring in the thirtieth minute, followed by Christopher Jullien's header sixteen minutes later and then goals by Callum McGregor (52), Ryan Christie (67) and Jozo Simunovic (80).
