Al Murray Takes the Mickey Out of Countries

Yesterday, I had featured Al Murray – and if you can’t get enuff of him, check out another of his performances here:

He makes fun of countries. Italy, for example, is the butt of his jokes.

He says Italians “got no follow through”. He points out Venice and declares “they still haven’t called a plumber”.

Then he adds: “In any other country, a flooded city that stank of shit would be regarded as a disaster”.

If you don’t know, Murray is an English comedian, actor, musician and writer. His comedy is often hard-edged social and political satire.

In 2003 he was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy, and in 2007 he was voted the 16th greatest stand-up comic on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups.
