Donald Trump Pooh-poohs Korean Parasite

US President Donald Trump (left) on Thursday pooh-poohed Parasite’s Oscar triumph and loudly questioning how a foreign movie could get the honor.

It’s a movie in Korean with English subtitles that is about class divides – and it made history by becoming the first non-English-language film to win Hollywood’s biggest annual prize.

Whether Trump likes the movie or not, the Oscar success makes Bong Joon Ho (right) a Hollywood darling!

Of course, Trump wasn't happy at all and even hit out at South Korea. He even asked incredulously, “What the hell was that all about?”

And he indicated his preference for Gone With the Wind, the 1939 film set during the US Civil War, which at the time set a record for Oscar wins but has since been chastised for its racist stereotypes and nostalgia for slavery.

Responding to the president's criticism, Parasite indie distributor Neon promptly tweeted: "Understandable, he can't read". LOL!
