HennaCraze by Nadine Paul

Nadine Paul’s love and passion for henna is reflected in her works:

In fact, when Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna (right) got married to beau Adam Sinclair in 2018, she had her hands decorated by Nadine Paul.

Henna is an art form, in which pretty designs are created on a person's body.

It uses a paste, created from the powdered dry leaves of the henna plant (Lawsonia inermis)

It is said that using henna (Arabic: حِنَّاء‎), also known as mailanchi (മൈലാഞ്ചി) in Malayalam, mehndi in Hindi-Urdu, and hinah in Hebrew, for body art has been practiced for over 5000 years. The peoples of ancient Egypt and India used this form of temporary tattoo for religious ceremonies, wedding festivals, and for simple body adornment.

And Nadine Paul, a student from Akasaa’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Training is in the running for the Best Wedding Henna Artist at the Samyukta Awards 2020 which honors the top performers in specific vendor categories in the wedding industry globally.
