Bent Wire Sculpture

Spenser Little (left) is a ‘wire magician’.

Heck no, he doesn’t make wires disappear – but he turns and twists them into incredible bent wire art.

And so, the self-taught wire bender creates amazing sculptural portraits that he installs outside windows, attached to utility poles, bridges, and other surprising places.

His awesome portraits are now all over the world to be discovered at random.

According to Little, a few of his sculptures combine multiple pieces and include moving parts – though most of his work is made using one continuous piece of wire. The artist bends the rigid material using a pair of needle-nose pliers until it fits the image of his subject or his imagination.

The work ranges from playful figures that interact with their surroundings to pointed commentaries on an internet and tech-obsessed society.

Prints can be purchased via Little’s online store.
