I Love You 3000

Spider-Man: Far From Home is the very last movie that brings the entire first three Marvel Cinematic Universe phases to a close.

And if you’ve been faithfully following the movies, you will, of course, already know that Iron Man died in Avengers: Endgame. Black Widow too.

If you can recall the heartbreaking "I love you three thousand" exchange between Tony Stark and his daughter – that expression of loving tenderness is real and it was lifted directly from what the actor says to his own children.

That line in the movie was also the last line in his farewell message to his family. It was an emotional scene that got many fans tearing up.

But that’s not all.

Film blogger and journalist Amanda Santino noticed the total running time of all the MCU movies in Phases One to Three would come to an incredible three thousand minutes! Wow!

I did the maths and the numbers added up.

There was never the slightest of hints that Marvel edit and cut their films for any other reason that the pursuit of ‘perfection’. Yet, how could all the twenty-three films total exactly the same amount Iron Man loves his daughter?

Strange but true! Surely, this is another reason fans love Marvel to three thousand and beyond!!!
