The Najib Freak Show in Butterworth, Penang

For sure, disgraced Najib Razak shamelessly boasted about his newfound popularity among his Malay constituents.

In the early hours of Sunday morning in Penang, he was having a meal with his UMNO people at Pokok Ketapang nasi kandar stall in Butterworth. And a big crowd had assembled to greet him, chanting “Bossku” and “Hidup Bossku” (Long live Bossku).

Like a strange specimen in an aquarium, the throng of spectators swarmed around him to take videos and photos, and which were subsequently uploaded on Facebook – and which went viral.

Najib was amazed. “They were willing to stand to look at me eat", he marvelled.

"Not sitting down but standing up to look at me eat…”, he repeated for good measure.

Admittedly, it is astonishing that the curious crowd sacrificed their sleep just to watch the Najib Freak Show!

I don't pretend to understand these Malaysians but methinks, they should get a life.

Yesterday, I was at SS19/1G in Subang Jaya, Selangor to attend the Summit-Subang joint Toastmasters meeting. I was there as a Speech Evaluator. And I was voted Best Evaluator.

Photos I took from the said meeting:
