Amanah Mock High Living PAS Leaders

Amanah leaders – who were former PAS leaders before they quit – had come out with guns blazing against Hadi and company over the out-of-court settlement pertaining to Hadi’s libel suit against Sarawak Report.

Mohamad Sabu (right) issued an open invitation to unhappy PAS members to join Amanah.

Khalid Samad said the settlement by Hadi was an open admission by PAS of Rewcastle-Brown’s allegations.

Hanipa Maidin questioned Hadi as to why he initiated the case in the first place.

Raja Kamarul Bahrin said PAS supporters were the main losers for being duped into donating about RM3 million to defray legal costs.

And Husam Musa and Mahfuz Omar, meanwhile, expressed regret that a party which had been built on the platform of Islamic ideals was now under severe disrepute.

Moreover, the video clip of former PAS Youth chief Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Aziz (right) purportedly making incriminating confessions has also resurfaced.

In the said video, Nik Abduh purportedly admitted that PAS had been receiving financial assistance, and proudly claimed that PAS was clever and UMNO was stupid in this matter.

To make matters worse, a purported extract of the settlement, naming a number of PAS bigwigs as leading very luxurious lifestyles from ill-gotten proceeds, has gone viral on the Internet.

It seems that they had made extravagant acquisitions – expensive cars that include a BMW, Mini Cooper, Toyota Vellfire, Range Rover, Porsche Cayman, Audi Q7, Audi A6, Toyota Camry, Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Passat, Mercedes Benz and even a BMW motorcycle, a RM3 million bungalow in Bangi, Selangor as well as the purchase of number plates at exorbitant prices.

If you can recall, they had made loud denials previously.

PAS Syura Council’s Hashim Jasin (right) reportedly said that he would not be driving a local Proton car if the party had received RM90 million.

Defending him, PAS Youth leader Khairil Nizam Khirudin told Malaysiakini this month: "If we had in fact received RM90 million we would use (it) to uphold Islam and help the rakyat (ordinary people), not buy cars".

And yet, Hashim has a Porsche Cayman registered to his name – although he said it actually belonged to his son who is supposedly involved in business.

Also, being exposed was the information chief of their Ulama wing, Khairuddin Aman Razali, who just bought an Audi Q7 for his wife – who happily boasted about it on her Facebook page.

A new Q7 sells in Malaysia from about RM525,000.

But as Khairuddin (right) pointed out: “This is a petty issue. I have a right to buy anything I want. I could even buy a lorry or a plane, it is none of their business”.

He also chided "socialist groups who liked to pick on the matter". "I bought the car using legitimate sources and I could afford it", he repeated. If you must know, Khairuddin and his wife sell beauty products.

On Friday, Nik Abduh couldn't resist showing off his sleek black Mercedes when he visited the MACC. And this is the fella who said UMNO are stupid!

PAS leaders are no different from their UMNO brethren – they covet material wealth and they idolise luxury! After all, money makes their world go round – all RM90 million of it!

Following two consecutive draws against Leicester City and West Ham, Liverpool FC's Jurgen Klopp (left) must rally his troops.

His words on the EPL title race just before the match against Bournemouth say it all: "It's getting exciting now. The only chance to improve our position – even though it is a good position – is by winning football games. I know that with each fibre of our bodies we will be ready to fight for everything. The only thing I want to say after the season is we gave our everything".

Let’s do it! Go, go, go and bring us glory! YNWA!
