Bohemian Rhapsody Trailers

The Bohemian Rhapsody movie will debut today in America.

The film written by Anthony McCarten focuses on a 15-year period of the band Queen. It starts from the formation of the group and runs until their performance at Live Aid in 1985, six years before Freddie Mercury's death.

Watch these two trailers:

must-watch! And I'm saying this even before I have watched it!

BTW, Queen members are not just talented musicians – but much more than that!

Guitarist Brian May attained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in mathematics and physics in 1968. Apparently, he put his education on hold when Queen started to become famous. Nearly 37 years later, at the age of 60, May earned his PhD in astrophysics from London’s Imperial College in 2007.

Drummer Roger Taylor originally studied dentistry but he gave that up, switched courses and earned a bachelor's degree in biology, also from Imperial College.

Bassist John Deacon studied at Chelsea College in London (now part of King's College London), where he eventually obtained a First Class Honours degree in electronics in 1971.

And Freddie Mercury earned a diploma in Art and Graphic Design at Ealing Art College (now the Ealing campus of University of West London).

And did you know it was Mercury who created Queen’s appropriately stately and regal logo?

He designed the logo to impart a sense of British royalty into the band’s identity. The close resemblance to the British coat of arms does the trick quite nicely.

However, there's more to it than that: Each band member is represented by their zodiac sign symbols, which surround the letter “Q”.
