Sign Language Rapping

Introducing Kenyan rapper Lal Daggy who is deaf and doesn't speak, relaying his music through sign language.

And accompanied by voiceovers and subtitles for those who don’t understand.

Check out two of his songs here:

'Deaf Life' is an encouragement song to the Deaf that they can make it in life. It also tells us to embrace the Deaf culture and learn sign language for easy communication.

And of course, 'Proudly Kenyan'.

Lal Daggy has performed for Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2015.

On Saturday, I was at DHL @ Cyberjaya in Jalan Teknokrat 5 to serve as a contest judge for D102’s Joint Area H1, H2, H3 & H4 Humorous Speech and Speech Evaluation contests.

I guess if you are a Toastmaster, you’re not contesting and you have time on your hands – you can always offer yourself one way or another in the service of Toastmasters. It’s called giving back.

Two of the four test speakers yesterday

My two awards that I collected yesterday from Distinguished Toastmaster Lakmichand (popularly known as Lucky)  the CC was for round #48 and the ALB was for round #7.
