Beer in a Glass

Most beer is best served not in a bottle or a can but poured into a glass – and in a glass, factors like color, aroma, and head actually have a chance to influence your drinking experience.

And the kind of glass you pour your beer into can also vary.

Over the years, different shapes and styles of glassware have been developed to enhance the experience of different beer styles. In fact, some breweries will develop glassware specifically to go along with a certain beer, which is why some bars might even have as many styles of glasses as they do styles of beer.

I’m not sure if this is merely a marketing ploy or it is really a necessary factor in the enjoyment of beer. I’m thinking it is both.

Anyway, this “Glassware for your Beer” guide is interesting:

Yesterday, Parti Amanah Negara vice-president Mujahid Yusof Rawa (left) said PAS’ acceptance of corruption-riddled UMNO shows that this mutual cooperation between the two parties that are long-standing rivals was against the former’s Islamic ideals that they claim to profess.

Isn’t this obvious that it is all about politics? Or rather it is about political survival?

I guess this betrothal between the two is leading to an unholy alliance. Islam has been sadly misused.

Of course, we know that PAS need UMNO as much as UMNO need PAS.
