World Cup Prayer for England

In about four hours or so, the World Cup semi-final between England and Croatia will kick-off. 

Please, please, please let Croatia win!!! Even if I don’t actually support the latter.

I know England aim to join France in the Final – but it must not happen! It musn’t! It can't!

On Tuesday evening, Liverpool took on Tranmere Rovers in another friendly and they won 3-2. 

Again, Jurgen Klopp played two completely different sides for the meeting with their League Two neighbours – the first half XI kept the flag flying high and scoring three goals but the second half XI was worse than mediocre – they were adrift most times and even let in two goals.

I am sure Klopp was busy making notes.
