GE14 Battle for Malaysia: Update 6

Mahathir Mohamad claims that his Pakatan Harapan bloc has won more than the required 112 parliament seats required to form the federal government. He had earlier on alleged that the Election Commission is delaying the announcement of the official results by refusing to sign Form 14.

Maybe so, but I will continue with my updates nonetheless.

BN’s Azalina Othman Said hangs onto P157 Pengerang in Johor. Salahuddin Ayub is also victorious in N13 Simpang Jeram in Johor.

And DAP’s Stephen Wong Tien Fatt wins the P186 Sandakan seat in Sabah.

Meanwhile, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan manages to retain the Kota Bharu seat, albeit with a heavily slashed majority. The closest challenger was Kelantan Amanah’s Husam Musa, who trailed by 5,896 votes.
