GE14 Battle for Malaysia: Update 4

Yay-y-y, BN's Shahrir Abdul Samad loses UMNO’s only urban seat in the southern state of Johor  Johor Bahru – to PKR's Akmal Nasir. Shahrir, who is Felda chairperson, has held the seat for six terms. PKR bags 42,570 votes against BN's 25,274 votes, with a majority of 17,296 votes!

And unofficial results put Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as the winner in P075 Bagan in Perak. Another important win for BN.

DAP has retained the Kepong parliamentary seat with a bigger majority. Lim Lip Eng from DAP was declared the winner after garnering 56,516 votes against Gerakan candidate Ong Siang Liang's 4,888 votes. The seat has been held by DAP since 1982, with incumbent Dr Tan Seng Giaw serving eight terms.

In Sarawak, DAP’s Chong Chieng Jen wins P196 Stampin beating SUPP President Sim Kui Hian.

It now seems that Pakatan Harapan are set to take over Kedah, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor. And of course Penang and Selangor.
