GE14 Battle for Malaysia: Update 12

Sabah, which has 60 state assembly seats, saw BN win 29 seats, followed by Parti Warisan Sabah twenty-one seats, DAP six, PKR two and STAR two.

This means the state could be facing a possible hung assembly.

Jeffrey Kitingan of Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) party successfully defeats his elder brother, Joseph Pairin Kitingan in a four-cornered contest for the Tambunan state seat.

In Jeffrey's first attempt against his brother in Tambunan, which is considered a clash between two giants of politics in Sabah, Jeffrey won over Pairin with a majority of 1,037 votes.

At 4:50 AM, it's official! Pakatan Harapan have secured 113 parliamentary seats, while their ally Parti Warisan Sabah win eight parliamentary seats.
