Madonna Rants About Donald Trump

Donald Trump was installed as the 45th President of the United States of America on Friday.

And Madonna, Billboard’s Woman of the Year was not happy at all!

When Trump won the presidential election last month, Madonna had a message for America. "We're fucked," she told actress Elizabeth Banks in a revealing Billboard interview.

"[The election] felt like someone died", Madonna had said. "[It] felt like a combination of the heartbreak and betrayal you feel when someone you love more than anything leaves you, and also a death. I feel that way every morning; I wake up and say, 'Oh, wait, Donald Trump is still the president,' and it wasn’t a bad dream that I had".

On the eve of his inauguration, Madonna was also candid – and philosophical – when she spoke at the Brooklyn Talks at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in NYC.

"It had to happen. I do believe that Trump was elected for a reason; to show us how lazy and ununified and lackadaisical we've become about our freedom", the Queen of Pop, 58, said.

And on Saturday, Madonna dropped a trio of f-bombs and during a speech at the Women's March on Washington, she had admitted that she had even "thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House".

She added: "But I know that this won't change anything. We cannot fall into despair”.

Her optimism is admirable.

"Well, good did not win this election. But good will win in the end," she had said.

In the meantime, America must brace itself for Trump's "tremors and aftershocks".

Even Madonna had confessed to being "ashamed to be an American".

Indeed, she is never hesitant to tell you how she really feels.

Malaysians too can relate to this.

We too, are ashamed to be Malaysians. Thanks to PM Najib Razak and 1MDB.

Dia ni buat malu je!
