A Surgery in London

Malaysian squash player Low Wee Wern’s surgery went well yesterday.

However, this is a 2-stage operation, which means, she will need to go under the knife again in about 3 months’ time.

I wish her a speedy recovery!

Also, yesterday, I was at Metro Genting Klang in Jalan Genting Klang, KL – after accepting an invitation to attend the One World Toastmasters meeting. I was the General Evaluator.

Amongst the guests was a ten-year-old girl showing immense courage as she went up to the front and delivered an impromptu speech. She spoke to us about what she wanted for Christmas.

Zyen Kee is affectionate as she is adorable. And her speech was amazingly awesome – even if it was just under one minute!

Altogether, there were seventeen of us and that already ensured a good meeting.

And as the year is drawing to a close, this is an important reminder:

The clock is ticking away.
